The wider internet has been made aware that test footage of a Deadpool movie has leaked onto the web. The footage is about 2 minutes in length and is humor laden homage to the Merc with a Mouth. It’s possible that this leak is strategic in nature to test what kind of audience a Deadpool movie would drum up. The footage might not last long so hopefully you can check it out before it gets taken down. Here’s the footage:
So we have a the merc dropping in on some bad guys while some nice 80’s ballad plays – editor’s note – Angel of the morning by Juice Newton. Pool in true to form fashion lays into the guys with some spanish, takes a beating and the footage ends with a bunch of dead guys and a car flip reminiscent of a Bollywood action hero. It should be worth noting that you definitely hear Ryan Reynolds doing the voice of the character here. Not 100% sure if that wasn’t a fan added touch or not.
If you’re a fan of Deadpool, this is definitely going to get your taco cooking. Let’s hope that Fox has plans to redeem the character after X-Men origins “dropping the football”.
