The Foot Goes Down In New Inside Out Trailer

|

Disney has officially posted the second Inside Out trailer, loaded with the trademark Pixar charm and some great-for-all-ages humor. In it, we see the main human character, Riley, along with her parents having a standard dinner table conversation. The twist of course, and main draw of Inside Out, is that we’re also seeing several internal characters controlling the humans’s emotions. If this wasn’t a trailer, it would make an excellent short on it’s own, so I can’t wait to see what the full movie holds!

As we already know from when the film was first teased in October, the story will primarily follow Riley and her emotions voiced by Amy Pohler, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling, Phyllis Smith, and Lewis Black. This particular trailer didn’t focus much on Riley, but instead her parents and their comically stereotypical emotions. Dad distracted by football, mom wondering why dad is such a doofus. In a weird way, the trailer has a real Osmosis Jones vibe, for anyone who saw that half-animated/half-live action film back in 2001 about a crime fighting white blood cell.

Disney is hosting a Q&A session with director Peter Doctor later today, so check back for more information after it concludes.

Inside Out is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 19th, 2015.
