Even The Ocean Is No Longer Safe From Disney's Frozen

|

Disney’s unstoppable juggernaut that is Frozen is taking its act onto the open waters, as the company announced earlier today that the 2013 hit will soon become part of the Disney Cruise Line tours. Starting this summer, families who haven’t yet had enough of Olaf, Elsa, Anna, and all the other characters can book a cruise and experience Frozen in 80 degree weather.
Frozen is getting the full Disney Cruise Line treatment as you’d expect. There will be a full character meet and greet, a new number in “Disney Dreams” (the musical production that is performed during the cruise), a storybook adventure taking place on land when the ship docks, and a new addition to the line’s Castaway City island paradise.
For select Disney Magic and Disney Wonder cruises sailing to Europe and Alaska, there will also be a special new deck party titled “Freezing the Night Away with Anna, Elsa, and Friends” that transforms the ship into a Frozen wonderland. Any other cruises not eligible for the complete transformation will still have the ability for multiple meet and greets onboard with the usual cast of characters.
Frozen currently sits as the fifth highest grossing film of all time, and the highest animated film of all time. Its immense popularity both as a movie and a vehicle to sell toys and clothes to snowman-loving children is one that is unlikely to slow down anytime soon, or at the very least until we’re all talking to reindeer and have been completely assimilated into the Frozenborg.
