If you have missed almost any major Star Wars release over the past 20 years, the Humble Bundle is your way to catch up quickly. The Star Wars Humble Bundle, valued at $115, includes popular Star Wars titles that span every genre the series has ever touched, dating all the way back to Dark Forces from 1995.
Paying whatever amount you want will net you three great titles: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, and the aforementioned Star Wars: Dark Forces. Pay the locked-in price of $12 and you’ll also receive Star Wars Empire at War: Gold Pack, Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. And finally, pay more than the floating average (which currently sits at $11.45) and you’ll also receive Star Wars Battlefront II, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, and Star Wars: Republic Commando.
At the time of this writing, over $2.3 million has been raised from this Star Wars bundle, $222.22 coming from the top contributor “Brooks H.” alone. As always, you can choose to split your payment between the developers, The Humble Bundle itself, or donating it all to charity, which in this case is Unicef.
The bundle is part of Disney’s Star Wars Force For Change initiative, which is launching with a $1 million donation from the house of mouse. Also up for grabs is a small spot in Star Wars: Episode VII. You may remember the contest announcement as the first time we got a glimpse of an Episode VII X-Wing back in July of last year. One winner will be chosen and flown to London to be filmed for a scene in the highly anticipated film. If you wish to enter for a chance, you can do so at Star Wars page on Omaze.
Should you miss out on the chance of a lifetime to star in a Star Wars movie, you can also donate to Force For Change and receive a thank you card from J.J. Abrams, a limited edition Star Wars: Force For Change t-shirt, a limited edition Force For Change poster, or a private screening of Star Wars: Episode VII.
