Dying Light DLC "Cuisine & Cargo" Drops Today

Dying Light, Techland’s action survival zombie game, is receiving the first of three DLC packs today in the form of “Cuisine & Cargo”. The DLC features two new hardcore missions in which players can investigate a restaurant and a loading bay at an abandoned rail yard.

Dying for more action? Take up the challenge of two hardcore Quarantine Zones. Employ a mix of stealth and combat to ransack and investigate ominous, Infected-filled corridors of the once most famous restaurant in Harran and an abandoned rail yard. Great spoils are believed to be abound in these places, but no one who ever walked in made it out alive to tell the story. Wanna be the first?

Sounds delicious, doesn’t it?
As well, players who have purchased the season pass will receive “The Ultimate Survivor Bundle” DLC in March and “The Bozak Horde” DLC in May. “The Ultimate Survivor Bundle” will give players four new blueprints and three outfits to utilize in the game while “The Bozak Horde” consists of a new map and gameplay mode which consists of fighting waves of zombies within Harran Stadium.
The “Cuisine & Cargo” DLC is available as part of the Dying Light season pass which costs $24.99USD, or is included in the Dying Light Ultimate Edition on the Xbox One. It can also be purchased individually for $4.99 – which makes me wonder what pricing the March & May DLC will be have to make the season pass a deal.
I don’t know about you, but while I am enjoying the game itself, the DLC content seems kind of underwhelming. Extra missions are always nice, but I know I’m nowhere near ready to tackle them. Extra blueprints and outfits are ok as well but in most cases a bit useless a few months after a game has been released. The only one that seems somewhat exciting is “The Bozak Horde”, although I’m not sure how well my nerves will hold out against wave after wave of the Infected!
“Cuisine & Cargo” is available today in North America, and will be available for other regions tomorrow.
