Daniel Craig Does James Bond Things In First Behind The Scenes Footage Of Spectre

|

What would a James Bond film be without gorgeous backdrops, cars, and a British actor punching someone? If this first behind the scenes footage from Spectre is any indication, the next Bond film is going to have the appropriate elements.
Posted by the James Bond 007 Facebook page earlier today, the footage shows the Spectre crew filming some car chases and fight scenes with the beautiful mountaints of Sölden, Austria looming in the background. Dave Bautista has a brief appearance as well, sporting considerably less green paint and more facial hair than when he appeared as the metaphor-catching Drax in last year’s hit, Guardians of the Galaxy. Daniel Craig only appears briefly at the end to do some James Bond things before it fades to black.

Craig was briefly sidelined by a knee injury he acquired while filming a fight scene at Pinewood Studios in Buckingshire, UK. While it didn’t cause Spectre to lose any time filming, it had to still be a scary situation for the crew heading into the 24th Bond film.
Spectre was officially announced back in December when it officially dropped the ‘Bond 24’ moniker and the full cast was revealed. The cast includes Daniel Craig, Dave Bautista, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Monica Belluci, Lea Seydoux, and Cristolph Waltz as Bond’s nemesis in the film, Oberhauser. It has been rumored that Waltz’s character will begin Spectre as Bond’s associate then betray him at some point throughout the film.
Sölden is only one of many filming locations for Spectre. Others will include London, Rome, Mexico City, Morrocco, and more. The film is slated for release on November 6, 2014 and is directed by Sam Mendes.
