ScreamRide Demo Coming To Xbox One And Xbox 360

Remember a little game called ScreamRide that Xbox debuted at Gamescom 2014? If you forgot about it like we did, Xbox has your back and is releasing a ScreamRide demo that you’ll be able to download starting at midnight tonight so you can take the game for a spin before its release on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on March 3rd.

ScreamRide, the spiritual successor to Rollercoaster Tycoon, allows players to create, ride, and even destroy their own roller coaster tracks.

Screamride is a full-featured, physics-based coaster game where creativity and destruction are equally welcomed. This game features stunning high definition graphics, hundreds of customizable building components, physics-based destruction, cinematic collisions, unlockable levels, in-game leaderboards, global rankings and more.

The demo will give gamers a chance to try out the three career modes that will be available in the game – ScreamRider, Engineer, and Demolition Expert. As a ScreamRider you’ll get to ride a rollercoaster (I’m already getting a little nauseous just thinking about it!), while playing in Engineer mode will let you plan and build the best rollercoaster ride you can. Finally you can play as a Demolition Expert and toss coaster pods around for “maximum screams and destruction”.
In addition to the demo being released tonight, ScreamRide digital pre-orders and pre-downloads will also go live today.
Are you looking forward to ScreamRider? What mode will you be playing? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook!
