With your House of Cards binge well underway, or completed for that matter, what’s next? Netflix unveiled the release dates for upcoming shows and new originals on Twitter. The big one of course – Orange Is The New Black – returns on June 12th.
Other show announcements included:

  • Between – May
  • Sense8 – June 5

Between, a Canadian sci-fi/drama stars Jennette McCurdy as a pregnant teenager in the small town of Pretty Lake. Don’t get too excited if you’re in Canada however, as it will appear on the Shomi service before hitting Netflix Canada a year later.
Sense8 is another sci-fi drama series and was created, co-written and co-directed by the Wachowskis. In this new series, eight strangers from different parts of the world find themselves mentally and emotionally connected in the aftermath of a tragic death.
The third season of Orange Is The New Black, a fan favorite, will continue to follow Piper Chapman (played by Taylor Schilling) as a woman who was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison for being an international drug mule 10 years previously.
What Happened, Miss Simone? is the documentary about Nina Simone, an American singer, pianist and civil rights activist. The film premiered earlier this year at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival.
Lastly, Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp is an 8 episode comedic mini-series based on the 2001 movie Wet Hot American Summer. Many of the original cast members will appear including Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Molly Shannon, and more.
