When Mortal Kombat X launches on April 14th, gamers will be able to purchase the “Kombat Pack” – the ultimate pass for DLC for the game. The first DLC that will be available is the “Samurai Pack” which includes three character skins (Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana) and a skin pack for each playable character.
The “Kombat Pack” will also include access to none other than Jason Voorhees of Friday the 13th fame, two Klassic Mortal Kombat characters and an unnamed guest character.
Warner Bros. has also released a new Cage Family trailer for Mortal Kombat X, showcasing Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage and newcomber Cassie Cage.
Sonya Blade, her ex-husband Johnny Cage and their daughter Cassie Cage are in a brand new Mortal Kombat X video that encapsulates their turbulent yet entertaining relationship and diverse fighting styles. Born from the blood of champions, newcomer to the franchise Cassie Cage is limber and strong, wielding dual pistols in a brutal new way. Franchise favourites Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage, now revealed as playable characters, return to the series as protectors of Earthrealm once again despite their tumultuous past.
The “Kombat Pack” is included with the Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition or will be available separately.
