After working with Talawa Games to bring Unmechanical: Extended to consoles, Grip Games is now working with Toxic Games to bring their indie hit Q.U.B.E. Director’s Cut to both current- and next-gen consoles.
“We’re proud to be working on such a fan‐favorite; one of the gems of the indie gaming scene. This version of QUBE is going to be the best one yet, with a new mysterious story, new music and a time trial mode”, says Jakub Mikyska from Grip Games.
Q.U.B.E. (Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion) is a physics-based puzzle game and was first released in December of 2011. In the game, players use high-tech gloves in-game to manipulate different coloured cubes which have different functions to solve an array of problems which include physics puzzles, 3D jigsaws, and platform challenges.
Q.U.B.E.: Director’s Cut is expected to launch this summer and will be available for the Xbox One through Microsoft’s ID@Xbox self-publishing program, the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Wii U.
