With the Xbox One launch of Cryptic Studios’ free-to-play MMORPG Neverwinter just around the corner, the company announced today on Twitter that you can start pre-downloading the game ahead of the March 31st launch.

Neverwinter has been available on the PC for about two years, and recently held an Xbox One Closed Beta test which we were able to get a first hand look at and offer our first impressions.
The game follows Dungeons & Dragons lore and ruleset and allows players to create characters from eight different classes which include Trickster Rogue, Devoted Cleric, Control Wizard, Hunter Ranger, Scourge Warlock, Great Weapon Fighter, and Guardian Fighter. You then undertake a series of quests in an open world which can be completed alone or with other, as well as partake in Skirmishes, Events, and Dungeons with other players – often grouping up in a balanced class combination for best results.
Even though you can start to pre-download today, you’ll need to wait until March 31st in order to start playing the game. If you were part of the Closed Beta, you will need to uninstall it and download the full version as the beta version will not be updated to the full version.
