Today is the day all Hearthstone fans have been waiting for – the hotly anticipated mobile version of everyone’s favorite collectible card game has finally been released. Fans can download the game on their appropriate platform through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Amazon. After being released for iPads on April 16, 2014 and subsequently on Android tablets December 16, 2014, the game required a screen size of 6″ or more, and fans have been eager to find more ways to fit Hearthstone into their lives and take it with them wherever they may go. And for those of you who haven’t stealth side-loaded it on to your device already, today is your lucky day!

With the “Blackrock Mountain” expansion already under way, the lava flows have only ignited even more of a frenzy among fans of the digital CCG, having added even more cards, more game mechanics, and MOAR fun. “Blackrock Mountain” stands as the second expansion, after “Goblins vs. Gnomes”, and “The Curse of Naxxramas” was the original adventure mode that allowed players to play against NPC’s for the first time.

HOW TO: Change system date in OS X ...

Originally released March 11, 2014, Hearthstone very quickly became a huge success among Blizzard Entertainment’s very established titles having over 10 million players before the end of its debut month. Now Hearthstone touts over 25 million registered users in January of 2015, Hearthstone remains free-to-play for the base version with the expansions available for purchase through the in-game store with either in-game gold or real money. Collectively the expansions add over 150 additional cards, various different card backs, 17 new bosses, 9 class challenges, and a whole goblin load of fun. Head over to the official website on Battle.net to check it out if you haven’t already!

Do note the release appears to be a slow roll-out style, and we at MOARGeek haven’t been able to download on our mobile devices yet, so just like us you will have to keep refreshing constantly check back later if you can’t access the app right away. Happy collecting!
