The Trese Brothers are back in action! Our friends Cory and Andrew Trese have officially announced their upcoming sequel to Templar Assault, including the first teaser trailer for the new title: Templar Battleforce. This time, Cory and Andrew have enlisted some additional help in the form of newly discovered Trese Brother, Martin. Ok, so he isn’t really newly discovered, but he’s only recently joined the fracas of game development with his brothers, helping with artwork and game design. Welcome to the fracas, Martin!

Templar Battleforce is a turn-based strategy role playing game (RPG) inspired by the epic world of Star Traders RPG and the elite martial order of the Templar Knights. Templar Battleforce blends strategic army building and specialization unlocking elements with fast-paced tactical combat where your hand-picked squad faces off against both alien and human threats.

Templar Battleforce has been in development for over a year, and will be released on iOS and Android sometime in early July with a Steam release expected afterwards. As with the Trese Brothers’ other titles, you can expect frequent updates and improvements long after the game is released. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Cory and Andrew have built a very close-knit group of fans, and they will always listen and respond to feedback, suggestions, and even constructive criticism. These guys have come a long way from their first foray into mobile gaming, and I can’t wait to see what they’ll do next!
