Andy Samberg Takes On Kit Harington In 7 Days in Hell

|

If you’ve been watching Game of Thrones, you know Jon Snow (Kit Harington) isn’t an easy man to put down – although things are looking rather gloomy for him and his Crows as of late. Andy Samberg (of SNLBrooklyn Nine-Nine, and Lonely Island fame) is going to make an attempt at knocking Kit Harington down a notch or two in HBO’s upcoming mockumentary 7 Days in Hell.

Sorry to disappoint you but Samberg won’t be picking up a sword in this duel, but rather Harington will be picking up a tennis racket as the pair play tennis stars Aaron Williams (Samberg) and Charles Poole (Harington) with a fierce rivalry. The only way these two can settle it is through a tennis match that lasts 7 days, hence the title 7 Days in Hell.

While the tone of the trailer is serious, some of the visuals indicate it should be quite a hoot to watch. Check out the trailer for the mockumentary below.

HOW TO: Change system date in OS X ...

I’ve always been a fan of Samberg. He has certainly been killing it on Brooklyn Nine-Nine lately, and it’ll be interesting to see Kit Harington in a more comedic/non-Jon Snow role. Directed by Jake Szymanski – a relatively unknown director of many shorts and a few SNL and Brooklyn Nine-Nine episodes, 7 Days in Hell also stars Karen Gillan (SelfiesGuardians of the Galaxy), Lena Dunham (Girls), Michael Sheen (UnderworldKingdom of Heaven), Mary Steenburgen (JustifiedThe Last Man on Earth), and Will Forte (Last Man on EarthSNLMacGruber) with cameos from tennis stars John McEnroe, Serena Williams, Chris Evert, and illusionist David Copperfield.

7 Days in Hell premieres on HBO July 11th. Let us know in the comments, or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook if you plan on watching it!
