RIP: Sir Christoper Lee Passes At Age 93

Sir Christopher Lee was a towering presence in film and in life. With a commanding voice and commanding demeanor you couldn’t help but respect the man. With lead roles in films such as, The Lord of The Rings and Dracula among many others, Lee was a master of his craft. He was one of those actors who made you believe he was the character he was portraying, I sometimes wonder if perhaps Johnny Depp was mentored by Lee. But even with that commanding presence its not as if Lee was some sort of unapproachable snob, part of that commanding presence included the compassion in his face. He just seemed to be a very caring person.

Sir Christopher Lee passed away on Sunday morning at a hospital suffering from respiratory problems at the age of 93. Sir Christopher Lee will be missed by myself and the entire MOARGeek and Techaeris crews. What are your favorite Lee moments, characters, films, quotes or anything else in general? Here’s one of Lee’s quotes we’ll leave you with as we send our hearts out to his family.

“I think acting is a mixture of instinct, imagination and inventiveness. All you can learn as an actor is basic technique.”
