The second to last episode of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game has been released today for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 with the Xbox 360 and Xbox One following tomorrow (July 22nd), and mobile versions following on Wednesday (July 23rd). The fifth episode, titled “Nest of Vipers,” continues the story of House Forrester set amongst the continuing overarching Game of Thrones storyline.
If you’ve been playing so far, you’ll continue exploring Rodrik’s alliance with House Glenmore and his continuing defiance towards the Whitehalls as Ramsay Snow returns. Travel back across the Narrow Sea to Meereen where Asher is trying to secure the army he needs to assist Rodrik in Ironwrath and help save his family’s house from falling. Back in King’s Landing, Mira continues to try to drum up support for House Forrester as she plays Margaery and Cersei against each other, and finally return to beyond the Wall as Gared continues to search out for the North Grove.
“Faced with bloodthirsty pit-fighters, dangers North of the Wall, and equally perilous political maneuvering in King’s Landing, we’re putting players in the most action-packed episode of the season so far,” said Kevin Bruner, CEO and Co-Founder of Telltale Games. “Extremely difficult choices will fall upon House Forrester in a cliffhanger ending before the dramatic season finale that’s yet to come.”
Come one step closer to saving House Forrester in this series based on George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Fire and Ice series which the HBO Game of Thrones TV series is based on.
