The Xbox One already allows users to use a USB keyboard with their consoles, and yesterday Phil Spencer – head of Microsoft’s Xbox division – hinted at adding mouse support to the console as well.
When asked on Twitter if PC to Xbox One streaming would be coming, Spencer replied that keyboard and mouse support would be required for that to work and said that support wasn’t far off.
@lgriao @PNF4LYFE @Tak225Th Yep, keyboard and mouse support for Xbox would need to be there for this to work, those aren’t far away.

There are a number of cases I can see a mouse and keyboard being useful, such as for navigating menus and entering information, and given a huge Xbox One interface update is coming soon it may prove to be very useful to have a mouse and keyboard attached to your console.
Just previous to the above tweet, Spencer also mentioned that he likes the idea of Windows 10 to Xbox One streaming.
@Tak225Th Still finishing Xbox to Win10 streaming right now. I like the idea of Win10->Xbox One streaming but don’t have a plan yet.

While many gamers will question why one would want to stream to a usually less powerful system than most gaming rigs, there are many other uses for displaying your Windows 10 screen on your Xbox One. Currently in beta, it can be done with the Wireless Display beta app on the Xbox One if you have the right setup, but native streaming support while on the same network would definitely make the process run smoother. On the gaming side however, it could even the scales when it comes to Windows 10/Xbox One cross play games down the road.
