There’s no denying that Goat Simulator has a cult following. People either love it or hate it, but it definitely can be a fun time waster. For those who have been waiting for more to do than just run around and lick, head butt, and destroy stuff, you won’t have to wait much longer. Double Eleven and Coffee Stain Studios have announced that Goat Simulator: Mmore Goatz Edition will be coming to the Xbox One on Aug. 26.
After releasing the original Goat Simulator earlier this year, the studios decided to up the game with even more goat-filled fun. In the new version, gamers will have a choice of two gameplay options – MMO or trying to survive in a Zombie Apocalypse. In the MMO mode, you can chose to play as a Warrior, Rouge (yes Rouge, not Rogue), Magician, Hunter or Microwave (yes a Microwave!), and embark on a plethora of quests ranging from “hand me that apple” to epic quests to lick 10,000 trees.
And if you haven’t had your fill of zombies yet, you’ll be able to craft six different weapons to help you stay alive and fight the undead. If that’s too tough for you, then you can choose to join the undead and help make as many zombies as you can.
One of the charms – or frustrations – of the original Goat Simulator was the number of bugs in the game. Don’t expect that to change in the new edition however.
“We’ve listened to feedback from gamers and interpreted what they really meant to say – there weren’t enough bugs. We can assure you Mmore Goatz Edition has more bugs than thought imaginable or allowable.
As mentioned above, players will be able to push Goat Simulator: Mmore Goatz Edition’s physics system beyond its limits from August 26th on Xbox One, releasing via the [email protected] self-publishing program. The game is set to release on the Xbox 360 as well at a later date.
