Left 4 Dead fan? Zombie Army Trilogy fan? Now you can have the best of both worlds with the latest Zombie Army Trilogy PC update as all 8 survivors from Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 join the fight against Hitler’s undead zombie army.

UPDATE (08/21/2015): A Rebellion spokesperson responded to our question about the update coming to console versions and had this to say:

“The agreement with Valve only covered PC. We have nothing to confirm for Xbox One or PlayStation 4, but it’s not impossible that the update might make it to console eventually.”

ORIGINAL STORY:

Gamers now have a stable of 16 characters to choose from and play through on the PC version of Zombie Army Trilogy starting today. There’s no word yet on if the update will be coming to the console versions of the game but we’ll keep you posted on any updates.

“We’re delighted to be able to bring such iconic characters to Zombie Army Trilogy,” said Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley. “As thrilling zombie shooters designed to be enjoyed with friends, Zombie Army Trilogy and Left 4 Dead share a lot of common ground. Our offices are filled with people who enjoy Left 4 Dead during breaks, and at lunchtime you’ll usually hear a few yells of ‘Boomer!’

And in case you’re wondering just how the heck the characters from Left 4 Dead managed to travel back in time to 1945, you can pick up the tie-in comic Zombie Army Trilogy: Wrong Place, Wrong Time for free from Rebellion and publisher 2000 AD.
