What’s In The Box!? Marvel Collector Corps: August Edition

We’re continuing our look at “What’s in the Box” with this month’s Marvel Collector Corps box. Earlier in the week, we took a look at What’s in the Box” for August’s Loot Crate theme of Villains 2. The box offered a small amount of items that were substantial in nature.

This month’s theme is Secret Wars. For those who don’t know, Marvel is reignited its Secret Wars miniseries we saw in the late 80s but with this redux, Marvel promises that a completely redone Marvel Universe will stand in the wake of the series’ conclusion. As such, this box pushes the comic arc with a number of items. Let’s see what they are and as always, you’ve been warned about spoilers and what not.

Secret Wars T-Shirt

In this month’s box is a Secret Wars T-shirt with Falcon as Captain America, Iron Man, Miles Morales as Spider-Man and Jane Foster as Thor in Funko form.

Funko Jane Foster Thor Collectible

Thor love interest Jane Foster has taken the mantle of the God of Thunder and what better way to celebrate the change than a Funko collectible of the new thunder god.

Funko Miles Morales Spider-Man Collectible

Not stopping with Jane Foster, Funko dropped an exclusive Miles Morales collectible on us as well in this month’s box. Both are box exclusives and come in bobble-head form.

In the box was also a Secret Wars comic book. The cover depicts Jane Foster in Funko form.

Falcon Patch and Collectors Corp pin

Also in the box was a Falcon patch and Collectors Corp pin that you can put on any of your favorite clothing items.

That’s about it for what’s in the box for August. The next Marvel Collector Corps box is will be arriving in mail boxes in October. The month’s theme is Villains. Each box promises $50 worth of collectibles for just $25 a month.
