Marvel’s Jessica Jones Trailer Teases Netflix Release Date

Coming off the success of Daredevil, it looks like we have a Jessica Jones trailer with a series launch date in mind. It’s hard to say that Netflix and Marvel’s Daredevil series wasn’t anything other than a runaway success. Met with much critical acclaim, the show broke away from the lighter toned Marvel shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and offered a more realistic and violent look at the Marvel universe.

The good news is that while we’re gearing up for season two of the show — and plenty of new heroes including the Punisher — Netflix and Marvel are continuing forward with phase one of its MTU with Jessica Jones. For those who have been living under a rock, here’s what we’re expecting with Jessica Jones:

Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need… especially if they’re willing to cut her a check.

Jessica Jones looks to continue the tone set by Daredevil as well. As such, there are many Marvel fans out there who are excited for the second series in the Marvel Television Universe (MTU). A lot of us fans though, were unsure of when we’d get to see the series and thanks to a presser from Netflix, we’ll be unsure no longer.

Thanks to the teaser trailer you’ll see below, we finally know that we’ll get to see superhero-turned-PI on the little screening starting at 12:01 a.m. PST on Friday, Nov. 20., just in time for that post-Thanksgiving binge fest. Though, we’re still two months away from being able to do just that. But you could always watch the newest season of Longmire in the mean time.

Other than that, there’s not much to tell you. We’ll keep you posted when we get more.  Are you looking forward to Marvel’s Jessica Jones? Let us know in the comments below, or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
