Fandango To Host Star Wars Movie Marathon For The Force Awakens Premiere

|

In case you have been living under a rock, there is this new movie coming out this December. A little known title called Star Wars: The Force Awakens, you may have heard of itIt also just so happens to be the seventh film in a three-part trilogy which makes it a trilogy of trilogies? I am not exactly sure how these things work, I am not a trilogy doctor. However, the important part is that it appears movie theaters will be continuing their practice of offering a marathon of all the previous films for those super dedicated fans.

The Fandango page is currently empty, however the small poster lists all six movies in story-chronological star-wars-marathon-posterorder for the ultimate Star Wars movie marathon: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. With the movies running at 136 minutes, 142 minutes, 140 minutes, 121 minutes, 124 minutes, and 134 minutes, respectively, that’s 797 minutes or about 13 and a half hours of Star Wars, not including the 136 minutes The Force Awakens is set to be. That’s a lot of Star Wars.

HOW TO: Change system date in OS X ...

Tickets for The Force Awakens are supposedly going on pre-sale after a new trailer is released this coming Monday night, October 19th, during Monday Night sportsball Football on ESPN, according to a report from io9. According to another report from Bleeding Green Nation, the football game will have the Eagles sporting all black jerseys, and the game will be entirely Star Wars themed from the scoreboards to the graphics. Nothing official has been confirmed from either the NFL, ESPN, or any Star Wars officials, however considering how much hype has already gone into the movie premier and the immeasurable lengths Disney will go to to promote their product, it would not be terribly surprising to see some form of Star Wars infiltrate the game.
