Check Out The First Captain America: Civil War Trailer Here

It looks like Christmas came early as we have our very first Captain America: Civil War trailer. While it seems that while some comic movies aren’t taking off, others have flourished quite well. Captain America is no exception as many are gearing up for the third and final installment of the Captain America trilogy. As we head closer to the May 6, 2016 release date anticipation will come to a head and we will finally get to see Iron Man (Tony Stark by Robert Downey Jr.) battle Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers.

What a long time to wait right? Well, we’re finally getting a peek at just how that will look as the worldwide premiere trailer for Captain America: Civil War dropped on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and we have it below. Unlike the fake trailer that graced the Internet months ago, this one appears legit. We could tell you all about it, but we’ll let the trailer do the talking before we continue further. Ready? Here you go:

From what we gather in the trailer, the conflict centers around Rogers’ friend Bucky, aka the Winter Soldier. If you haven’t seen the second movie, titled The Winter Soldier, you may want to, as Bucky is a brain-washed villain in the movie and that movie, along with the Avengers: Age of Ultron, set up the plot for the third Captain America movie.

If you’ve read the comics, you know two sides are drawn over a superhero registration act and accountability for those superheroes. Rogers is against the act, while his pal, and fellow Avenger, Tony Stark is for having accountability. It comes to a head as one-time friends are pitted against each other. Of course, as you see from the trailer, battles between the two juggernauts ensue.

You may want to watch the trailer again, I know I have a few times already, to see if you catch any hidden easter eggs. Rumor has it there’s possibly a Spider-Man sighting in there somewhere. Once you’re done gushing over the trailer, sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think. Of course, you can also do that on any of our social media accounts.
